Worship at River of Hope
At River of Hope, worship is more than just a collections of songs before the message. Worship is a lifestyle. We sing songs of "praise" proclaiming God to be our Saviour, our Provider, our Healer, but "worship" happens when our lives begin demonstrating our proclamations as truth and our lifestyle bears evidence of our beliefs. It is when we are willing to bend our will to His. As the Hillsong lyrics say... "when the music fades and all is stripped away and I simply come." When we set aside our problems and our issues and focus our hearts and minds on the one who gave HIS LIFE for US, it's then, that we don't perform an act of worship, but we encounter a realm of worship. We step into His very presence and simply enjoy fellowship with our Creator and Saviour. The Bible says that God inhabits the praises of His people. Therefore, at River of Hope..."We will bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continually be in our mouths" (Psalms 34:1) because....
in His presence there is FREEDOM
in His presence there is HEALING
in His presence there is PEACE, JOY & LOVE
in His presence THERE IS HOPE!!!!
