The Bible and Prayer are the two of the greatest weapons that a believer and follower of Jesus Christ possesses. When Jesus gave his life as payment for our sins, He paid a debt that we could never pay. We were purchased for the price of the life of God's only Son. When we accept this free gift of Salvation, it comes with a contract. The Bible is the contract between God and His children. Just as with any other contract, each party has things that they promise that they will do. If a person bought a car, the dealer would promise that the car would run properly and the purchaser would promise that they would make the payments. In our contract with God, His word is full of promises of provision and protection. Our part of this contract is to 1) Love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. 2) Love our neighbor (fellow man) as we love ourselves. Many Christians, to the delight of the enemy, miss out on countless opportunities for blessings because they do not know or understand what is in their contract.
